EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required
  • Education

  • Bachelor's Degree BS or BA in Business, Finance or Related Field
  • Experience

  • 3 years project planning and analysis preferably in a health care environment.

JOB DUTIES
  • Provide the leadership framework for planning, directing, coordinating, and improving projects that are responsive to the needs of University of Texas Southwestern Hospitals.
  • Assumes project hand-offs from Health System Planning team for all approved and funded projects.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, budget preparation and business plans within the service-line.
  • Communicate issues identified by front line staff related to new administrative or departmental initiatives.
  • Undertake special projects at the request of the service-line leadership
  • Support, execute and monitors Six Sigma/Lean/Process Improvement projects.
  • Work collaboratively to ensure consistent quality of clinical care throughout the system.
  • Coordinates and manages expectations of multi-disciplinary project stakeholders.
  • Participate as a member of the service-line team in implementing short and long-term plans designed to enhance University of Texas Southwestern Hospital's competitive position in the marketplace.
  • Manages the clinical projects for both the Ambulatory Practice and University Hospitals to ensure that the project budget and target schedule are met.
  • Assist in cost consolidation, product standardization initiatives.
  • Develop scorecards and metrics to evaluate performance and contribute to high patient and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all regulatory and compliance standards are met.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
