Join the team and create the future of customer experience together. As a UX Content Manager, you will serve as the strategic leader and primary authority for content strategy within our UX team. You will balance hands-on content design work with mentorship, ensuring your team delivers user-centered, inclusive, and impactful content experiences across all product touchpoints. Your expertise will shape how we communicate complex ideas through language, structure, and narrative while maintaining alignment with broader business objectives and industry best practices. Team The UX Content Team is a brand-new, strategic initiative at Genesys dedicated to transforming how we communicate and engage with our users. As the first-ever UX Content Manager, you'll have a unique opportunity to define and set the tone for this function, shaping the team's vision, processes, and impact. Your leadership will influence product development and the overall user experience, ensuring that every touchpoint delivers clear, compelling, and valuable content. Key Responsibilities Management Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop a team of UX content strategists, providing guidance, feedback, and growth opportunities. Oversee performance reviews, hiring, and promotions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality content design output. Team & Project Management Allocate UX content strategists effectively, based on highest priorities and identified business/user impact. Manage day-to-day planning, staffing, and execution of content design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. * Collaboration & Communication Collaborate closely with our Design System Team to continue to build out content writing guidelines and ensure a unified approach to both visual and content elements across the product. Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and go to market teams to seamlessly integrate content design into the product development lifecycle. Effectively advocate for content design and communicate the ROI of content changes to stakeholders and executive leadership. Strategic Leadership Responsibilities *Strategic Leadership & Vision* Define, develop, and implement a unified content strategy that prioritizes clarity, consistency, and user engagement across all product touchpoints. Establish an operating and engagement model to inform the team's priorities and focus areas for greatest impact. Content Standards & Quality Developing measurable content standards for accessibility, localization efficiency, and terminology consistency. Strategic, Data-Driven UX Content Monitor content performance through analytics and user feedback to continually refine and optimize content experiences and align with business and user goals. Ensure all content meets company guidelines, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years in user experience design, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial or team lead role. A robust portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking and hands-on, user-centered content design work. *Tool Proficiency:* Familiarity with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) to effectively partner with the UX team members in the tools they directly design in. Proficiency in collaborative platforms such as Miro and FigJam for streamlining workflows and facilitating team brainstorming, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration. Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing platforms such as Contentful or WordPress. Leadership & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage and inspire a creative team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate content standards and influence cross-functional stakeholders. Skilled in workshop facilitation and supporting misaligned groups to get to a shared outcome. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Experience Experience designing enterprise-level applications, services, or platforms (specifically support or call centers). Understanding of user research and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, ContentSquare, Maze) to assess content outcomes, define content metrics/ROI, and guide strategic decisions. Compensation: This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
