Security Officer - Education Location

As a Security Officer - Education Patrol in Stanford, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

Join our team as a Patrol Officer in an educational setting, where you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you engage with the community through exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or possess a college degree.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
• Applicants must have 5+ years of security experience.
• California Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• Applicants must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
