This is your opportunity to establish and lead a world-class Compensation and Benefits function for a newly carved-out global business. As we transition from a public company to a private-equity-backed enterprise, we need a strategic and hands-on Global Benefits and Compensation Manager to design, implement, and drive forward-thinking benefits and compensation programs. This role will shape the foundation of our total rewards strategy, ensuring we attract, retain, and engage top talent worldwide. This position reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Benefits Strategy & Administration:
- Oversee global benefits strategy, including health and welfare, retirement, and wellness programs, ensuring competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
- Handle relationships with brokers, consultants, and third-party administrators to optimize benefits offerings.
- Oversee communication materials, booklets, employee meetings and other media for communicating new plans and changes to employees ensuring a focus on engagement, transparency and clarity.
- Conduct market analysis and RFP processes to drive cost savings and improve employee experience.
- Create and implement benefits harmonization strategies across multiple geographies, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Lead benefits integrations for future acquisitions, driving alignment with company-wide total rewards strategy.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and international regulations, including ERISA, ACA, and other statutory requirements.
- Act as a strategic advisor to HR and business leaders on benefits standard processes and innovations.
- The role will lead and enable future acquisition integrations and diligence evaluations.
Compensation Leadership:
- Lead all aspects of global compensation philosophy, methodology, and framework to support strategic objectives.
- Lead the development and execution of all compensation programs, including base pay structures, incentive plans (SIP, MIP, AIP), job architecture, and market benchmarking.
- Drive the annual salary planning process, including merit increases, promotions, and market adjustments.
- Evaluate and enhance executive and broad-based compensation programs to align with company growth and talent strategies.
- Lead compensation analytics, using data insights to inform pay decisions and ensure market competitiveness.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to ensure effective job leveling, career pathing, and pay transparency.
- Maintain compliance with global and local compensation regulations, providing governance over pay practices.
Governance & Compliance:
- Establish a single compliance framework for compensation and benefits programs.
- Oversee federal and state filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure adherence to all legal requirements and proactively lead risk mitigation.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic guidance on compensation and benefits trends.
- Partner closely with Finance, HR, and Legal teams to align total rewards with business strategy.
- Drive communication and change management efforts to enhance employee understanding of compensation and benefits programs.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team to implement compensation and benefits initiatives effectively.
YOU HAVE:
- Ideally 8+ years of experience leading global compensation and benefits functions.
- Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A proven track record of designing and implementing global total rewards strategies.
- A passion for influencing senior leaders and inspiring change across an organization.
- Experience as a strategic problem solver who understands the big picture but is hands-on enough to execute in a fast-paced environment.
- A data-driven mentality that uses analytics and market data to optimize our total rewards strategy.
- A passion for being a talent advocate who believes in the power of extraordinary people to drive business success.
- Expertise in incentive plan design and benefits strategy.
- Solid knowledge of brokerage management, RFP processes, ERISA, and compliance requirements.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) preferred.
