The Production Planner is repsonsible for ensuring efficient production scheduling and material planning to meet customer demand and optimize manufactuirng processes. This role works closely with the production team and procurement to maintain smooth operations and minimize production delays.
Essential Functions: Develop and maintain production schedules based on forecasted demand, inventory levels. Ensure on-time delivery of products while minimizing downtime and inefficiencies. Monitor and analye material requirements to ensure the availability of materials and components for production. Track and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages. Pro-actively address and resolve production scheduling and material availability issues. Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and workflows. Implement best practices in planning and scheduling to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Effective communication with vendors. Monitoring and updating the status of outgoing and incoming shipments. Data entry High School Diploma or equivalent Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel Knowledge of production planning Strong organizational and time-management skills Strong communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling and inventory management Preferred Additional Skills: Quickbooks | |
