Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Level 1:

  • Estimated annual base pay: $70,880.00 (minimum) - $88,600.00 (midpoint) - $106,320.00 (maximum)

Level 2:

  • Estimated annual base pay: $89,520.00 (minimum) - $111,900.00 (midpoint) - $134,280.00 (maximum)
  • All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity.

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Project Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position is a Functional Project Manager in the area of Sourcing, Operations, Sales, or Quality. The Functional Project Manager is accountable for the planning, directing, and execution of local and/or global projects. The Functional Project Manager is responsible to direct the project team to achieve project deliverables including contractual and business objectives while ensuring customer satisfaction and QDRC.

What You Will Be Doing

Level 1:

  • Coordinate/lead multiple projects of medium complexity
  • Presents and represents project status to customer and Woodward managers
  • Participates in profit planning processes
  • Accountable for scope change management: responsible to orchestrate with the accountable leaders and team to be responsive to customers, project schedule, and deliverables
  • Support continuous improvement
  • Lead and present project updates for management reviews, provide written updates, and status reports

Level 2:

  • Coordinate/lead multiple projects of med-high complexity, multiple sub-projects, and/or cross location
  • Presents and represents project status to customer and Woodward managers
  • Participates in enterprise trade-offs between projects
  • Provide mentoring and consultation to lower-level project managers
  • Participate in strategic planning/profit planning processes
  • Accountable for scope change management: responsible to orchestrate with the accountable leaders and team to be responsive to customers, project schedule, and deliverables
  • Evaluate and implement continuous improvement. May include authoring documents and standards
  • Lead and present project updates for management reviews, provide written updates, and status reports

What We Are Looking For

Level 1:

  • Bachelor's Degree BA/BS
  • 2-5 years' experience in specific functional area (Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, etc)

Level 2:

  • Bachelor's Degree BA/BS
  • 2-5 years' experience in Project Management required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
