Job Description

  • Responsible for managing public relations efforts, coordinating events, and overseeing logistical operations related to the grant's initiatives.
  • Develop and implement PR strategies to promote the prevention grant's objectives and activities.
  • Create press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials.
  • Maintain relationships with local media and coordinate media coverage for events.
  • Manage social media accounts and update them with relevant content.
  • Plan, organize, and execute events related to the prevention grant, including workshops, training sessions, and community meetings.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, and equipment rental.
  • Assist with curriculum facilitation.

Minimum Qualifications

An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Anticipated Hiring Range

Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
