FTE: 0.9, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p

Position Summary

The Health Information Exchange (HIE) Analyst is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of health information exchange and related application technologies, supporting HIE users, assisting with EHR integration into various HIEs, including Continuity of Care Document exchange, and assisting with other HIE and community connect related projects. The incumbent collaborates with cross functional team members on a combination of analytical, clinical, and administrative productivities to include planning, designing, providing enhancement support, testing/validating data, training, and documenting development and maintenance activities.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Business, Healthcare, or Information Technology)
  • Four (4) years of experience in developing, implementing, operating or maintaining, and testing information systems in integrated health care delivery systems including hospitals and/or clinic settings
  • Experience with Health Level 7 (HL7), CDA record, XML, and other healthcare system standards
  • EHR experience; Epic preferred, including Care Everywhere, Interconnect, Bridges, Epic Care Link
  • Experience with customer relationship management, requirements determination, and project management
  • Previous implementation experience with healthcare systems and interfaces in hospitals and/or clinic settings or with a healthcare system vendor required
  • Valid Washington State driver's license

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $16.28 - $22.47 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
