We are seeking a dynamic Marketing and Communications Specialist to develop and execute strategic communication and marketing initiatives that enhance brand awareness, engage stakeholders, and support business objectives. This role involves graphic design, content creation, social media creation, and marketing campaign execution to effectively communicate our company's values, products, and industry leadership. The Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for design solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion and demonstrate a high level of proficiency in design. Through a variety of channels, print, digital, web, video, the Marketing and Communications Specialist will create digital and print marketing communications and sales materials to visually communicate complex ideas, storylines and technologies, to illustrate concepts and messages and promote the Company's positions, content, brands, and offerings. Detailed Description:
- Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to support business goals.
- Create compelling content for marketing materials, website, social media and internal communications.
- Create, design and deliver print digital materials
- Planning concepts and designing rough layouts and concept art
- Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline
- Development of graphic designs across multiple properties and business units
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital and print advertising.
- Retouch and manipulate images
- Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media
- Monitor and analyze communication and marketing metrics to measure effectiveness and optimize strategies.
- Support internal communications to ensure employees are informed and aligned with company objectives.
- Provide creative direction for design projects
- Collaborate with leadership to conceptualize and contribute big ideas for campaigns
- Understand and incorporate the Company's content strategy and brand positioning into all content, as appropriate
- Maintain brand standards and guidelines across multiple properties and business units
- Assist with some video production (branding, editing, etc)
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality with all information obtained
- Follow Company protocols, procedures and controls in performing assigned duties

Job Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals
- Proficient knowledge of writing and how to tailor writing style for various audiences and specific outlets
- Ability to edit for grammar, clarity, organization, style and consistency
- Working knowledge of AP Style writing
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with others
- Demonstrated ability working under deadline
- Ability to adapt to change and handle multiple, competing priorities
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Excellent computer knowledge for both MAC and PC environments
- Exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 2+ years of Graphic Design experience
- Some experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
Working Conditions: Work is primarily in a climate controlled / office environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, or walk with occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending and frequent near vision use for reading and use of computer, telephone and other office equipment.
