Job Title: Physician Location: Orient OH 43146 Shift Hours: 08:00 AM- 04:30PM (M-F) Hours/week: 40 hours/week Duration: 6 months to Long term Job Description: Searching for a physician who is board-eligible or board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine and who is experienced in primary care to provide full-time on-site services to the male population at this facility. Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards. and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system. Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports. Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing. Managing medication. Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated. Making referrals for specialized care or treatment. Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards. Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews. Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed. Caseload: Up to 2.5 patients/hour. Requirement: Ohio Medical License. Copy of Board Certification. Drug Enforcement Administration certification. COVID vaccine card or exemption letter. BLS/CPR Certification.
