Job Summary:

Directs HR programs to ensure the local organization's HR requirements are met. Liaises with site managers to develop and implement local HR programs that support business requirements and are aligned with the organization's overall HR strategy. Evaluates the organization's future workforce needs to recommend changes to the HR strategy and adapt existing HR programs to meet these needs. Ensures that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the local leadership team to understand and execute the organization's People and Culture strategy.
  • Provides support and guidance to the People and Culture team and leadership when complex, specialized, andsensitive questions and issues arise.
  • Act as a player-coach leading a compact HR team, focusing on practical aspects of onboarding, retention, and employee relations.
  • Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for employees
  • Coach leaders on
  • Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt employees, students, and temporary employees; writes and place job advertisements; rewrites job description as necessary
  • Overseas and conduct onboarding and offboarding processes such as new hire orientations and exit interviews. In addition, assists Managers with Employee Relations matters.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends, such as employee turnover, OSHA rating, and headcount reports
  • Strongly participates as an active member of the Safety Management Team by supporting the organization's Environmental, Health & Safety Program
  • Works with the Learning & Development Team to coordinate the organization's training needs with outside vendors and assists with maintaining training records
  • Design and deliver training to employees, such as Sexual Harassment Prevention, Recruitment & Selection, Delivering Performance Reviews, etc.
  • Prepare and deliver various presentations to employees and management
  • Plan and organize employee communication meetings for the organization
  • Assist management with ongoing efforts to implement cultural transformation
  • Works with payroll and managers to ensure time and attendance is completed timely
  • Establishes and maintains department records and reports
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or similar relevant degree.
  • Five years' experience with HR policies and procedures development; recruiting needs.
  • Management and employee training, compensation and benefits; and internal communications and employee relations with air-treatment products manufacturing.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, project management and follow-through skills
  • Professional Human Resources Certified, preferred
  • Cultural transformations and employee engagement activities

  • Travel is required - 10% domestic
