JOB SUMMARY: Coldspring is seeking a full-time, summer, Marketing Communications Intern to support our marketing team in developing and executing marketing materials and communications. This role will involve assisting with content creation, writing, and supporting various marketing projects across digital and print platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating content, a creative mindset, strong writing skills, and a desire to learn all aspects of marketing communications.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Capture and edit video and image content to support storytelling efforts across digital and print channels.
  • Assist in writing and refining marketing copy for brochures, presentations, social media, email campaigns, website updates, and internal communications.
  • Support the development of conference materials, such as handouts and presentation support items.
  • Help create and coordinate marketing collateral such as product brochures, promotional materials, and digital content.
  • Assist in managing and organizing digital assets for marketing use.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in drafting social media posts, ensuring brand consistency and engagement.
  • Assist with updates and content management on the company's WordPress website.



QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging content for various audiences.
  • Interest in learning about digital marketing, social media platforms, and content trends.
  • Basic familiarity with design software (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or Canva) is a plus, but not required.
  • Willingness to gain experience with video and photo editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to take initiative, ask questions, and collaborate effectively with the marketing team.
  • Eagerness to gain hands-on experience in WordPress content management and website updates.
