Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver full life cycle recruitment for non-exempt talent by sourcing, screening and preparing candidates for interviews for assigned locations
  • Present hiring managers with qualified candidates and develop candidate pipelines for reoccurring skillsets.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition from recruitment to the onboarding of new hires
  • Extend offers for employment and initiate pre-employment checks
  • Maintain a high volume of job requisitions that require quick turnaround times
  • Focus on key performance indicators such as time to fill
  • Work with temporary agencies as needed for temp workers
  • Maintain regular communication with hiring managers on current and future recruitment needs
  • Attend career fairs, trade schools, and labor halls to develop network and pipeline of talent
  • Maintain Applicant Tracking System in Workday for all hourly positions
  • Provide support and direction to all plants on the application process
  • Assist in other talent acquisition activities as needed including, general career fairs, networking events and other branding initiatives
  • Support the intern program as necessary
  • Advise hiring teams on policies, procedures, compliance requirements, diversity strategies and interview techniques.
  • Provide training to hiring managers and their teams as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • One to three years of recruiting experience; experience recruiting skilled labor preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to practice and maintain strict confidentiality on sensitive issues
  • Must be a self-starter who does not require constant supervision
  • Knowledge and understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws
  • Ability to communicate clearly, professionally and empathetically
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Strong service orientation, social perceptiveness and active listening skills along with
  • Demonstrates strong planning skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable communicating with employees on all levels of the organization
  • Experience with Workday preferred
  • Human resources certification preferred
  • Working with unions preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
