QA Technician

Middleton, WI

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday- Work overtime at the end of the month/quarter as needed.

• Follow all Quality System procedures to ensure product and service quality.
• Review and maintain Device History Records (DHR), including electronic DHRs, ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Perform incoming inspections to verify product compliance with specifications.
• Assist with off-site record retention, disposal, and documentation improvements.
• Support quality audits, corrective/preventive actions, and effectiveness checks.
• Ensure compliance with medical device regulations/standards (ISO 13485, FDA Part 21 820, Medical Device Directive/Regulation, etc.).
• Manage incoming materials and have authority to accept or reject non-compliant products.
• Assist with the nonconforming material process and drive quality process improvements.
• Participate in team projects and contribute to process optimization.

• One-year certificate from a college/technical school or 3-6 months related experience; equivalent education/experience accepted.
• ASQ certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to coach others on Good Documentation Practices.
• Understanding or ability to quickly learn medical terminology and equipment.
