Job Title: Legal Consultant

Location(s): Bedminster, NJ

Requirements :


  • Must have the ability to apply for Government Clearance.
  • Confidentiality and attention to detail are a must.
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve issues.
  • Utilize sound judgment.
  • Customer Service experience is a plus.
  • Proficient typing and transcription skills.
  • Computer and technical skills.
  • Organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Commitment to working as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate sound decision-making and understanding of when to escalate/refer matters to management.
  • Paralegal certificate is not required, but any legal background, college education, or experience is preferred.


Job Functions:


  • Data entry of legal processes into the workflow management system.
  • Answering high volume calls and distributing voicemail messages.
  • Communicate with the law enforcement community regarding life-threatening situations 24x7x365 by answering calls, authenticating the caller, and providing law enforcement with the customer records needed for high priority emergent matters.
  • Ensure all cases are correctly documented and managed end-to-end in compliance with all applicable laws and company procedures.
  • Understand and be willing to learn basic legal concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures.
  • Enter customer and account data from source documents within time limits by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
  • Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information to prepare source data for computer entry.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check output.
  • Resolve deficiencies using standard procedures or return incomplete documents to the team lead/supervisor for resolution.
