The University of Missouri School of Medicine Department of Surgery Job Description
The Department of Surgery is seeking a Senior Student Support Specialist to play a critical role in supporting the medical education programs within the department. This position will serve as a liaison between the Office for Medical Education, Clerkship Director(s), and medical students, acting as the first point of contact for third and fourth- year medical students. The Senior Student Support Specialist will maintain communication with medical students, faculty, residents, and staff, ensure the efficient execution of student schedules, and assist in various administrative tasks related to medical education. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle sensitive student information with confidentiality. Key Responsibilities: * Assist with the management of the clerkship orientation schedule for third-year medical students. Manage the scheduling of fourth-year medical student rotations. Ensure that all schedules are up to date and distributed to relevant parties. Shift
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Anticipated Hiring Range
