Community Food Program Liaison (7 positions)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Start date- June 30th, 2025 End date- August 31st, 2025 (17-20 hours per week)

Community Food Program Liaisons will manage produce inventory, order produce from the farms, pick up and stock the van, and drive the van to the distribution sites. They will work with the districts Farm to School Project Manager and the districts Food Service Manager to monitor vendor compliance with the rules of this grant program (i.e., vendors must document that raw product ingredients are grown in New York State, lightly processed foods contain at least 51% of New York State ingredients, with the remaining ingredients sourced within 400 miles of the processor). The Liaisons also will be in charge of engaging with the SCSD families and Schenectady residents participating in the program, and gathering necessary reporting data.

SALARY: $17.00/hour
