Why do we need you ?

The Saint-Gobain Communications Team is looking for a digital communications intern to work closely with the external communications team to create and curate content for social media channels and the company website. They will be responsible for researching social listening for key trends in sustainability in manufacturing and
construction, as well as other areas of the business. Using this research, they will assist with visual and written content for social media channels and website as needed. They will also assist with website redesign as needed.

Essential Functions:



  • Research key trends in topics around sustainability in manufacturing/construction for opportunities
    where Saint-Gobain can contribute to the conversation
  • Support external communications team in creating digital content for social media channels and website.
  • Assist the communications team in preparation for a website redesign

Qualifications



  • Must be currently enrolled in a four-year accredited degree program, preferably in communications, marketing, digital marketing, or a related field
  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Knowledge of social listening tools such as Brandwatch, Social Studio, Synthesio, Sprout Social, or Meltwater
  • Knowledge of digital media tools, such as Sprout Social, as well as understanding of social media trends and best practices
  • Knowledge of SEO
  • Experience with photo editing tools, such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Team oriented
  • Results focused
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexible, but organized
