*Job Title: Data Center Cabling Technician*
*Location:* Temple, Texas *Shift:* Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM (will ramp up to 5 days a week, 10-hour shifts) *Duration:* Minimum of 1 year *Top Skills - Must Haves:* * Cat5 and Cat6 cabling * Copper fiber * Rack and stack * Blueprint reading * Structured cabling * Cable installation *Top Skills' Details:* * At least 1+ year of commercial cabling experience * Experience pulling fiber * Reliable transportation to the Temple site *Secondary Skills - Nice to Haves:* * Fiber optic cable * OSHA 10 certification * Scissor lift operation * Conduit installation * Cable tray installation *Job Description:* We are seeking hard-working individuals for a minimum 1-year data center build-out project. The role involves working both inside and outside to build out data centers. Responsibilities include: * Layout and install wireway, bus duct, cable tray, switches, receptacles, and other devices * Build closets (mount and install backboards, cross-connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic hardware) * Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cable as required * Complete all IDC connections (e.g., terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels) * Pull wire and/or oversee and direct conduit installations and wire pulling * Operate tools/equipment requiring the use of two hands (e.g., cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jackhammers) *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* * Tools: screwdriver (regular and Phillips), drywall saw, torpedo level, tape measure, snips (with belt sheath), pliers (needle nose and channel locks), hammer, cable stripper, flashlight, and gloves * Able to lift 40 lbs * Valid driver's license * Proficient with the listed tools * Proven skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including specifications, reporting, and quality requirements * Knowledge of universal communications color codes *Employee Value Proposition (EVP):* * Opportunity for growth: Promotes from within and seeks individuals eager to learn and grow. Must wear PPE on-site. Safety vest, gloves, and safety glasses will be provided. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
