Who we are
The Account team is the orchestrator for the WPP Unite team and the first "face" to the clients. Who are the E2E Quarterbacks. Able to speak high-level across strategy, planning, investment, partnerships and analytics in conversations and answer most client questions on the fly.
Bringing the right subject matter experts to the table for more in-depth conversations and drive collaboration internally and externally to deliver against briefs and takingpride in all deliverables and ensuring WPP Unite is seen as best-in-class.
Have a full understanding of the clients and wear the client hat. Anticipate questions and proactively anticipate client needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Serves as main point of contact for clients and manage their project needs, from initial brief to implementation within the studio to nal reveal. They generally are the first WPP Unite team members to respond to client emails and action the necessary internal collaboration required for new requests.
  • Strong presence with clients, across brand marketing and marketing specialties, working as an extension of the UL teams, presenting a united front across all National, Search and Shopper marketing initiatives.
  • Intake client briefs, disseminate them across the WPP Unite team and coordinate the "brief interrogation" to ensure strong inputs before work officially kicks off.
  • Kicks off workstreams, creates timelines, review all final deliverables and keeps clients informed on project progress.
  • Brings the WPP Unite team together regularly to drive full E2E collaboration across all workstreams and functions, including National and Shopper, Media and Creative.
  • Plays an active, participatory role in Optimizations sessions.
  • Organizes internal conversations, inputs and deliverables for IATs. Attends all IAT meetings, bringing in WPP Unite specialists when called for.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to provide thought leadership and POVs based on client conversations, hot topics within the marketplace, etc and steward creation of the content and dissemination across relevant clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborates across teams to understand and share asset needs, delivery timelines, deliverables and specs. Supports Investment teams with the coordination of Content Calendars.
  • Identifies and alerts tasks that may be falling behind or not up to client standards. Probes if priorities need to be adjusted or if additional resources are needed.
  • Responsible for the hands-on-keys work within the monthly Financial process (IOPs).
  • Ensures budget approvals are received in a timely manner and are aligned with all financial compliance/ audit requirements across all channels.
  • Maintains C/UC views and fields budget adjustment request.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $75,000 to $180,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
