Job Description
  • Develop, write, design, and produce digital content, including promotional videos, social media content, digital magazines, e-newsletters, and multimedia presentations and proficient in necessary software to complete tasks.
  • Works with systemwide management and staff to establish and track customer outreach and recruitment plans, goals, and activities
  • Develops and utilizes communication strategies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and informational materials
  • Communicates up to date information to internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to system partners, media, jobseekers, and employers
  • Ensures strong virtual service options across the system to enable social distancing
  • Oversees systemwide social media activities - utilizing Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other applications
  • Ensures social media activities are conducted according to professional standards, in appropriate frequency, and aligned with consistent protocols across the system
  • Ensures the website meets professional standards, receives a high level of utilization, and provides access to meaningful information and options for virtual participation
  • Develops, maintains, and strengthens the online Learning Management System
  • Develops and maintains materials to communicate service delivery options and processes to the community through virtual and in-person mediums
  • Facilitates the systemwide Outreach Workgroup and provides updates to Operator
  • Trains and supports system staff on messaging and communication with potential jobseekers and employers seeking services
  • Conducts community outreach to identify and engage potential program participants in program activities.
  • Makes presentations, both in-person and virtually, about systemwide programs to community groups, social service organizations, and other stakeholders to promote enrollment
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of business, community and current economic environment
  • Knowledge of and experience with effective marketing and community outreach techniques and strategies
  • Strong organizational/administrative skills and demonstrated ability to communicate with people from diverse cultures and customs
  • Ability to plan and organize workflow
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Strong presentation skills with public speaking experience
  • Demonstrated computer skills with experience using word processing and spreadsheet software programs
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing technology and social media to effectively manage communication initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience working with and developing learning management system
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintain an organizational website
  • Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources
  • Demonstrated knowledge of labor market trends
  • Friendly, professional demeanor
