In the Talent Acquisition Specialist role, you will perform recruiting duties for all levels of organization positions, with a particular focus on behavioral health, administration, and retail departments. If you are perceptive, capable of relating to individuals at all levels within an organization, and sensitive to organizational needs and employee goodwill, this could be the role for you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow the established recruiting process to create requisitions, review applications, conduct phone screenings, schedule interviews, check references, and extend employment offers
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide education and support on the recruitment and hiring process
- Create an exceptional candidate experience by fostering relationships with past, current, and potential applicants through regular communication, honesty, and highlighting the advantages of employment with Catholic Charities
- Coordinate with agency marketing department to advertise on social media, print, and other platforms to enhance recruitment efforts
- Create and maintain a pipeline of candidates for future roles by proactively developing relationships with universities, attending job fairs & other networking events, and outreaching to potential partner organizations in the community
- Utilize applicant tracking system to maintain accurate records of candidate activity for departmental and government reporting
- Assist with the coordination of internship and student practicum placements
- Maintain and share knowledge of agency employment benefits, federal and state student loan repayment programs, and other beneficial programs to support the hiring and retention of qualified staff
- Attend workshops, webinars, and trainings to increase knowledge of recruitment resources and best practices and to support continuous improvement to our recruitment process
- Participate in agency and departmental meetings and trainings as requested, including routine travel to other agency locations
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED and three years of experience in recruiting or human resources. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
- Prior experience using applicant tracking systems preferred
Licenses or Credentials
- Valid WA driver's license and minimum liability insurance required by WA State
- Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities' liability insurance provider
Special Skills
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, and navigation of the internet
- Clear and concise communication, both written and oral
- Ability to relate to individuals at levels of the organization and with the public
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and documentation
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring medium physical exertion; talking, hearing, and adequate vision to operate standard office equipment
Other Requirements
- Employment offers are contingent upon satisfactory criminal background check, including fingerprinting where required
Wage Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience
