A Brief Overview This role administers program(s) and provides oversight and support to program staff in coordinating program services.
What you will do
- Oversee day-to-day operations and work product
- Monitor and coordinate program operations, resources and projects including develop project plans and facilitate the resolution of issues.
- Enact policies and procedures, and maintain related documentation and databases.
- Collaborate across teams and serve as the primary liaison for the program.
- Oversee and participate in team, project and program meetings.
- Manage and maintain operating budget, supplies and resources.
- Maintain program metrics and related tools and regularly reports results.
- Monitor and support related finance, accounting and billing functions.
- Coordinate information collection, compilation and dissemination as required.
- Provide advanced administrative support as needed.
- Conducts a structured, focused intake with parent or caregiver, referring MD and/or referring agency to gather information regarding identified patient where there is a specific concern about Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Effectively assesses the families' understanding of their child's problems and the expectations they have for evaluation through the AIC.
- Requests and coordinates schedules so that involved foster care agency representatives are present during evaluation/treatment process in order to facilitate coordination of care.
- Maintains the ability and knowledge to perform intake tasks and intake referral interviews for AIC
- Serves as a resource person for Access schedulers to access when questions arise regarding intake information, scheduling conflicts, difficult patient issues as it relates to intake, as well as any questions about resources for children and adults with ASD that are calling into CHOP with questions.
- Works closely with Autism Coordinator and AIC Manager to triage to most appropriate services at CHOP and in community
- Have a full understanding if a caller would be good fit for a Center for Autism Research (CAR at CHOP) research study.Refer all families to Autism Match when they call with existing diagnosis.
- To assist with QI project data collection and analysis.Report data to administrative team.Generate graphs and reports, with interpretation of collected data.
- To look at data collected with AIC manager and other team members to develop new EPIC processes for intake, pools in EPIC, internal PCP referrals via EPIC, best triage to different programs within AIC (Dev Peds, CAR, DCAPBHS).All of above to assure best access for families to AIC providers, working toward lessened wait time and best care.
- To work with AIC manager to communicate instructions for new processes developed.
Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED Required
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of administration, coordination or program experience Required
- At least three (3) years of administration, coordination or program experience Preferred
- At least one (1) year of experience in a healthcare related environment Preferred
- At least one (1) year of leadership, management, or supervisory experience Preferred
