Our OSI Electronics division is a diversified manufacturer of electronic devices and value-added manufacturing services for use in a broad range of applications, including aerospace and defense electronics, security and inspection systems, and medical monitoring and diagnostics.

OSI Electronics is seeking a Sr. Director, IT Applications and Business Processes. As a senior leader reporting to the Opto Division President, this position is responsible for establishing, developing, and leading all activities related to our Enterprise Resource Planning System and other related Applications for our global operations.

This person, along with the other members of the leadership team will define the strategic agenda for the Opto division and for each operational site throughout the division.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the D365 system implementation efforts for the Opto division and provide ongoing support once onboarded.
  • Facilitate solution definition with subject matter experts and process stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other business, and IT stakeholders where applicable, to develop clear and complete solution requirements that align with business process objectives.
  • Collaborate with business owners, identify and execute changes to the ERP system(s) that improve accuracy and/or timeliness of tasks and data.
  • Define, develop and ongoing performance management, optimization and compliance of production and quality processes.
  • Develop new capabilities to drive costs efficiencies, customer service improvements and support revenue protection or generation.
  • Work closely with each site's leadership team to understand the goals, challenges and needs of the business.
  • Oversee the team's efforts to select, design, configure, test and train applications and the processes that align with them where appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain data integrity controls throughout the end-to-end process.
  • Be well-versed in business plans and objectives of the division and ensure development and implementation of the division's strategic agenda.
  • Understand what applications are most needed and how best to fit them into the business strategy.
  • Promote continuous improvement through measurement and monitoring of key process KPI's and benchmarks.
  • Build and head a strong global team to support the strategies.
  • Establish and manage governance and oversight processes to align strategy and resolve issues.
  • Ensures continual compliance to the standards and processes that have been and will be deployed.
  • Alignment with and adherence to the functional areas with HR, Legal and Compliance policies, and identification of complementary technologies to achieve required business outcomes, as they relate to our IT Applications.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, Masters preferred.
  • Proven experience in an IT leadership role with a strong background in complex systems implementations, specifically for Contract Manufacturing.
  • Minimum 7-10 years' experience defining and optimizing production, planning and quality processes within an Enterprise Resource Planning system (D365 F&O or Navision highly preferred).
  • Proven experience defining and optimizing Sales, Service and Engineering processes within an Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • Possess a keen mind for discovering and defining business processes, requirements, and their relationship to provide continuity in all major application decisions.
  • Possess and use business savvy to make decisions regarding product features the end user will access to drive the products planned results.
  • Able to define problems effectively, assemble and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make sound recommendations.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to present to Executive Management and customers.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills,
  • Possess a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis,
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, often competing project workloads and activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Manage and mentor the team reporting into them.
  • Ability to work as a solution architect, be able manage consultants and remote staff.
  • Able to build a strong rapport with others but also able to work independently.
