The Division of Sidewalk & Inspection Management seeks to hire a permanent Principal Administrative Associate that will report to the Personnel Coordinator for the Division. While maintaining confidentiality, the daily responsibilities will include, but not be limited to assisting with list calls, tracking vacancies, preparing job postings, researching civil service titles and title specifications, copying and filing Personnel Request Forms (PRF) and other related documents for processing, prepare new hire and promotion packages, schedule and attend interviews, review interview documents, screening and qualifying applicants, enter and submit PAIRS records to Personnel, update and maintain SIM Personnel report, coordinate participation for DCAS job analysis panel and internship programs, review Headcount report bi-weekly and provide status updates for all units and lead liaison for employment verifications. Minimum Qualifications 1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, one year of which must have been in an administrative capacity or supervising staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty; or 55a Program

New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment. However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County.
