Manufacturing Planner 4

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Manufacturing Planner 4 for an opportunity with a client located in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Plans and leads department/organization processes for developing, implementing and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration
• Develops and plans manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives
• Supports mechanics to provide clarification related to planning and the applicable engineering drawings and specifications
• Prepares build analyses and cost estimate reports
• Leads integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements
• Participates in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met
• Develops complex tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements
• Manages tooling from initial design to end of use disposition
• Leads investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing related issues
• Leads teams performing producibility assessments of design concepts
• Supports enterprise level bench marking to incorporate best practices
• Leads development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments Develops scheduling templates for use by others
• Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements Develops and documents new job practices, techniques and standards
• Works under minimal direction
• Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role

Requirements:

• Boeing Planner Experience
• 10+years of Manufacturing Planner experience
• 10+ years of experience of CAD Software
• Analyze & Interpret Engr Data, read 2d and 3d drawing and specs,
• Manufacturing Engineering processes
• Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft
• This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access. Dual citizenship or prior citizenship of any other country may preclude ability to obtain access. A 3rd party background check relating to personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior will be conducted
  

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• Gold ESP & MESCI experience

• Education / Experience: AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access. Dual citizenship or prior citizenship of any other country may preclude ability to obtain access. A 3rd party background check relating to personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior will be conducted
• Onsite/remote/hybrid: 100% Onsite. Candidates must be local or willing to re-locate prior to start at own expense
• Length of Assignment: 12 months possible extension based on business needs
