Job Description:

A Proposal Center Senior Associate's primary role is to support the firm's business development efforts by managing and producing high-quality proposals that respond to client requests and help the firm win new business. The main focus of this role will be on producing proposals for Public Sector and Government.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Manage all CRM entries and Pursuit Source site creation.
  • Maintain PS resume library and vendor registration.
  • Coordinate proposal development from start to finish on assigned RFPs.
  • Gather necessary information and materials for proposals.
  • Interact with legal and risk management on disclosure forms, conflict of interest and contract related items.
  • Ensure that proposals are compliant with client requirements and are submitted on time.
  • Work closely with partners, principals, and other stakeholders to understand the scope of services offered and to align the proposal with the firm's strategic goals.
  • Participate in strategy sessions to develop win themes and differentiators for proposals, as necessary.
  • Write clear and persuasive proposal content that articulates the firm's value proposition and differentiators, customizing content to address the specific needs and concerns of each client.
  • Edit and proofread proposals for clarity, grammar, and compliance.
  • Coordinate and deliver multiple proposal projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
  • Utilize project management tools to track proposal progress and communicate with team members.
  • Participate in debriefs after proposal submissions to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Proposal Center.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in proposal writing, preferably for government.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • A strong understanding of the government procurement process and experience with RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitation formats.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities to handle multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with Proposal Managers and other team members to meet tight deadlines and achieve shared goals.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $30.00 - $61.75 per hour.
