General Summary: Clinical Nurse Manager, Clinical Decision Unit Henry Ford Novi and Southfield Campus Full Time Days Manages activities, workflow and nursing resources for one or more assigned nursing units.| Responsibilities: Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within the unit(s).| Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).| Develops and implements policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in the unit(s).| Develops and maintains quality monitoring systems for the assigned unit(s).| Monitors and adheres to budget. Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.| Ensures a high level of associate, patient and physician satisfaction.| Conducts hiring, training, directing, counseling, development and evaluating of staff. Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: - Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required. - Bachelor's Degree preferred - Prior OR experience needed Additional Information
