Description

We are hiring a Leader of Mock Up Experience Warehouse to manage and support the operations of the Mockup warehouse. You will maintain users and products in the database and update the software and databases. You will control the incoming and outgoing traffic flow to ensure a smooth flow of materials so that the Mockup teams are set up for success.

You are a self-starter who enjoys autonomy in their work but likes collaborating on the overall mission, goals and objectives in your role of helping to provide essential support in the pursuit of creating great mock up experiences.

Beyond technical abilities, you have a bias for action, an intense curiosity, an ability to deal with ambiguity, a resourcefulness and tenacity to identifying solutions, and a "can do" attitude.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a professional organization

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 65lbs and move 110lbs

  • Computer software experience (Microsoft suite)

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Able to drive a hi-low system

  • Can communicate effectively via phone with field sales and dealers

  • Comfortable working alone

  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting

  • Strong organization and prioritization of task management

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Strategizing and developing packaging, cases and crating for sales tools/product working with Mock Up Experience Manager, Product Development, Marketing, and various vendors.

  • Researching and providing input on existing and new vendor relationships.

  • Ability to be proactive, make strategic decisions, and provide coaching regarding tools for mock ups.

  • Troubleshoot field sales issues on sales tools from Mock-Up Service Center.

  • Collaborate with import/export teams on maintaining proper procedures and compliance including HTS codes, COO and costs for all Mock Up Service Center inventory.

  • Be fiscally responsible for any costs related to vendors, mock up installations, etc.

  • Understand the software used to access/utilize Steelcase computer applications and inventory management system with a basic level of ability in Outlook, Sharepoint, Powerpoint, MS Word and Excel.

  • Maintain inventory levels for all sales tools, packaging items and other items needed to operate the mock up service center.

  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and independently organize workday without supervision.

  • Service oriented attitude with the ability to positively communicate effectively with dealers, project managers, designers, sales, installation crews and all levels of Steelcase employees and customers.

  • Must have knowledge of standard receiving, inspection, staging procedures and the ability to use/maintain a variety of hand, mechanical, and freestanding power tools.
