Position Highlights |
This position will support University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) and will provide subject matter expertise for the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning products integrated within the LMS. The Learning Technologies Analyst II works closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and other technology resources to assess requirements for new learning technology requests, providing feedback on system functionality and design options. This position is responsible for daily maintenance and configuration of UAGC's custom course copy process and curriculum revisions. They will also assist in troubleshooting, testing, and resolving issues with Learning Tool Integrations (LTIs) within the Canvas LMS.
Candidates working anywhere in the U.S. may be considered for a remote assignment. If you are selected for this position and are employed to work remotely from outside of Arizona, your overtime exemption status will depend on the laws of the state where you perform your work. For employees working outside of Arizona, you may be hired as an hourly employee in accordance with state laws. A comparable hourly rate range would be: $25.50 - $31.88. These changes would not affect the position duties as outlined. Duties & Responsibilities |
- Responsible for daily configuration and maintenance of UAGC's custom course copy and curriculum revision processes within the LMS Canvas.
- Provide ongoing support with technical integrations and vendor escalations and resolutions.
- Assist in the deployment of new technical features including documentation, testing support, and end-user training.
- Proactively formulate ideas and provide recommendations for system and process enhancements, driving continuous improvement.
- Assist with UAT testing of new functionality and system upgrades within the LMS.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Ability to edit basic CSS and HTML.
- Technical competency including strong system administration and critical thinking skills, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with faculty and various instructional support teams.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible to the rapidly changing needs of the department and company.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience AND Bachelor's degree.
OR
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Canvas Administration in a Higher Education setting experience.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims.
