POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing planning and analysis in various aspects for Clearway Health. Your responsibilities will include participating in close analysis, quarterly forecasting, capital expenditure planning, new program evaluation, and may include assisting with the development of the annual operating budget and multi-year financial plan for assigned groups or areas. In this dynamic position, you will thrive in Clearway's entrepreneurial and fast-paced atmosphere by working independently and efficiently solving problems that impact Clearway's financials and strategic plan. You will share responsibility for ensuring operational effectiveness within the Finance department, ensuring that high-quality financial services are delivered in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards. Your role will involve analyzing the financial and economic benefits and the cost impact of new and existing business initiatives. With guidance and support, you will prepare recommendations and business models to aid the organization in enhancing margin and optimizing resource allocation and utilization. Additionally, you will foster a positive, constructive, and supportive relationship between the Finance department and other departments within Clearway Health.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Conduct targeted revenue and expense analysis to develop a comprehensive understanding of performance drivers.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as directed by finance management, focusing on process improvement and optimization.
  • Support monthly financial close analysis by providing detailed variance explanations for assigned groups/teams.
  • Manage large sets of sensitive and potentially confidential data with discretion.
  • Develop analytics to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial performance data.
  • Collaborate in Budget preparation, contributing to variance and FTE Reporting.
  • Assist in invoice creation processes.
  • Prepare updates for quarterly and monthly forecasts, incorporating modeling assumptions.
  • Contribute to the creation and enhancement of monthly financial reporting packages utilized by executive leadership.
  • Oversee special projects and use Clearway's High-5 values as the foundation for decision-making.

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

  • Engage in cross-functional teams to drive favorable financial outcomes; demonstrate self-direction and initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Aid in developing business plans and financial models to adapt to service changes or long-term planning requirements.
  • Collaborate within the FP&A team to generate and present analysis results, emphasizing findings relevant to strategic planning or performance irregularities.
  • Support with data requests and ad hoc analyses on various data sets, including productivity, general ledger information, and growth analysis.
  • Offer insights and improvement suggestions backed by data models and strategies aligned with current market trends.

EDUCATION:

  • A bachelor's degree is required. Concentration/major in Finance or Accounting is highly desired.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, accounting, or planning function. Experience may be waived for candidates with a Master's degree.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Showcases expert proficiency in Excel and PPT while preparing and possibly delivering executive level presentations.
  • Experience with or proven ability to learn ERP systems such as Infor or NetSuite, along with multidimensional data and financial reporting software such as Cube, DataRails, TM1 or Hyperion.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and effectively communicate key findings and assumptions to management for decision-making.
  • Highly analytical with a talent for improving and streamlining work processes.
  • Takes initiative and works self-directed with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working with assumptions in analytics.
  • Exhibits strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills for interaction at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and advancement within the organization.
  • Proven time-management abilities, multitasking, effective priority definition, and flexibility to meet deadlines. Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with a curious, energetic, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

  • Under 10% travel is expected for this position.
