POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Director, Client Strategy will provide strategic guidance for the Client Services organization, shaping and executing client-specific business development strategies. This role encompasses designing effective growth plans, conducting data analysis and evaluation, developing operational deployment strategies, and defining success metrics and financial projections. Leading a team of strategic and business-minded professionals, the Senior Director will drive specialty pharmacy growth initiatives across client sites, both individually and collectively. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this seasoned advisor will be a key member of the senior leadership team and a trusted thought partner, championing our core values of collaboration, optimism, and curiosity. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in specialty pharmacy and healthcare with demonstrated success driving continuous improvement and creative growth. Cross-functional collaboration will be essential for success with our team members and clients.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Client Strategy team, guiding leaders and individual contributors to design and develop client growth programs in support of company goals and financial performance.
  • Lead and cultivate a high-performing team by monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing performance while providing coaching and expertise to support development and drive thought leadership.
  • Routinely review client opportunity analysis to establish initiatives that create new and expanded areas of growth that are organic to specialty pharmacy services as well as those that that may include health system strategies and provider expansion.
  • Leverage client-specific capabilities, 340B footprint, and specialty programs to uncover unique opportunities for growth and program expansion.
  • Partner with applicable company leadership to establish strategic relationships with industry leaders in order to identify potential growth opportunities and recommend the development of innovative programs/services
  • Translate clinical/pharmacy/industry knowledge into customized client strategies that unlock their full potential.
  • Collaborate with the client services organization to support, evolve and enhance client programs, ensuring alignment with new areas of growth and maturity.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify and design clinical and strategic programs that foster financial growth and improved clinical outcomes for Clearway customers
  • Partner with appropriate executive team members to: 1) design and implement strategies to support growth that align with near-mid and long-terms proformas for each client site and 2) contribute to and support successful sales and client retention strategies.
  • Manage budget and planning for the Client Strategy team, ensuring financial performance meets or exceeds established milestones.
  • Align cross-functional initiatives with core company objectives, fostering strong interdisciplinary communication across internal departments.
  • Identify resource needs for supporting current and future strategic initiatives; partner with People & Culture to recruit and hire top talent as needed.
  • Represent Clearway Health at industry conferences, advisory boards, outreach meetings, and engagements with thought leaders and business partners.
  • Foster strong working relationships across a broad spectrum of internal and external partners, ensuring successful collaboration and business growth.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred. RPh or PharmD preferred

EXPERIENCE:

At least ten (10) years progressive leadership experience in pharmacy and healthcare organizations. Experience must include leadership role (at least 5 years) and reflect significant history in navigating complex solutions and creating executable pharmacy and 340B growth strategies.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, and 340B
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of analytical ability, and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external customers.
  • Excellent organization and management skills, the ability to set strategy and lead a team in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent management and communication skills Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to design and development strategic growth initiatives within specialty pharmacy services.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS (Responsible for on-call, 24 hr. coverage, etc.) & Travel Expectations:

Up to 30% Travel
