The Assistant Director for WBLI will partner with the WBLI Academic Director to create and implement leadership development experiences, content, and tools uniquely customized to University of Cincinnati undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, and community members. Examples may include leadership workshops, training programs, books, the annual Warren Bennis Leadership Experience, mobile applications, podcasts, etc. The Assistant Director will engage with the WBLI Advisory Board and the Academic Liaisons Group to refine and implement a university-wide model for student leader development. The Assistant Director will align leader development with the guidelines provided by the Carnegie Foundation's Elective Classification including assessment of student learning, curricular and co-curricular offerings, engagement, and impact. The Assistant Director will collaborate with the Academic Director to develop strategy, long-range planning, and internal and external partnerships. The Assistant Director may teach a course, facilitate seminars or workshops, and supervise staff. The Assistant Director will be under the general supervision of the WBLI Academic Director and will generally assist with the administration and direction of the interdisciplinary Leadership Institute. The Assistant Director will be primarily responsible for operational and administrative duties involving the daily functioning of the Institute such as reconciling credit card payments, ordering supplies, event planning, setting meetings, documenting meeting notes and action items, responding to email inquiries, updating website content, developing promotional materials, etc. This position will have the option of a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office/2 days work from home) for those with a residence within OH/IN/KY following 90 days of training. Residence must be in the tri-state area within reasonable distance to UC Main Campus to have ability to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies. Essential Functions
