The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is looking for an Mid-Level Emergency Planning Engineer. This position will be at our Naval Reactors Facility (NRF) which is located in Idaho Falls, ID. Duties may include development and execution of site evaluation exercises, outreach with outside agencies, managing emergency response organization qualification program and records, conduct and develop training for responders, manage emergency equipment to ensure constant ready for use status, and managing emergency plans and procedures. This position requires interaction and presentations to senior staff members and outside regulators. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 4 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 2 years of relevant experience; or Currently or previously NPE qualified; or CTE/ACRS and 1 year EOOW qualified in the Nuclear Operations Program; or Watch Instructor and Refueling Facility Area Refueling Engineer and 1 year as SRE. Pay Range
$83,600.00 - $130,700.00 annually The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
