Planner/Scheduler (Contract - 1.5 Years)

Location: Raleigh Area, NC (Onsite - Clayton, NC)

Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour, can apply a per diem split if not local along with travel reimbursement

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler for a 1.5-year contract with our client in the Raleigh area, NC. The role requires strong Primavera P6 expertise and experience supporting EPCM projects. The ideal candidate will be skilled in schedule development, analysis, and earned value management (EVM) while working closely with project management and construction teams.


Qualifications (Must-Have):

  • 5+ years of Planning/Scheduling experience on EPCM projects
  • 5+ years of Primavera P6 experience, including schedule analysis
  • Strong understanding of building construction, timelines, and industry practices
  • Experience with CPM (Critical Path Method) scheduling
  • Ability to develop, update, and analyze fully integrated EPCM schedules
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience and ability to align schedules with EVM metrics
  • Ability to communicate schedule status effectively through reports and meetings


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain EPCM schedules using CPM methodology based on project documents (Scope of Work, P&IDs, General Arrangements, etc.)
  • Ensure schedule logic and activity duration align with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction tasks
  • Maintain schedule integrity during updates and ensure consistency with EVM metrics
  • Support Look-Ahead scheduling to optimize resource allocation
  • Conduct client-facing schedule reviews and support project management teams
  • Collaborate with construction and engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution


Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Pay: $42.00 - $45.00/hr
