Job Title:
Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Co-Op (Fall 2025)
Job Description: The Role: Our site in Chester, PA is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Co-Op to join our team for the Fall 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. What you'll do:
- Lead project(s) to further develop and deploy the Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System (EHSMS) at the site.
- Participate in multi-disciplined Hazard Assessments (examples: Ergonomics, New Chemical, New Chemistry, Management of Change)
- Support the site's Sustainability goals.
- Develop new web-based tools to better organize and implement EHS programs.
What we seek:
- Outgoing and cooperative to work cross-functionally
- Project Management skills
- Knowledge of Excel, pivot tables and SharePoint
- Willing to learn from and interface with manufacturing engineering, operations, new product development, and facilities teams
- Good analytical skills
Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
- Desired Major: Safety, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, Information Technology
- Graduating in Fall 2025 or later
Eligibility
- Must be a currently enrolled student
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in July through December
- Must be familiar with the university's requirements to participate in a co-op program

- Compensation: $20-$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
