Lead and execute procurement strategies for the Electronics category, including raw materials, fabricated components, and capital equipment. Develop and maintain a robust supplier base to ensure timely delivery of quality materials at competitive prices, while adhering to corporate purchasing policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing:Develop and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies to optimize supply chain performance and minimize costs. Supplier Management:Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards. Contract Negotiation:Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best pricing and terms, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Market Analysis:Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, assess future supply needs, and anticipate shifts in supplier negotiating power. Risk Management:Assess, manage, and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity of supply. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with stakeholders, including finance, operations, and marketing, to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals. Cost Reduction:Initiate and manage cost-saving initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and reduce overall expenditure. Supplier Visits:Visit supplier facilities to evaluate operations and discuss business relationships. Advisory Role:Provide guidance to company personnel on procurement planning and best practices
Required Qualifications:
Education:B.S./B.A. in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Experience:5-7 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or materials management, with specific experience in the electronics category. Skills:Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in procurement software and supply chain management tools. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge:In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and materials within the electronics category, including PCBA and electro-mechanical assemblies. 100% remote role with up to 30% travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CSCP). Experience in the medical device manufacturing industry or similar product categories. Proven track record of cost reduction and supplier relationship management. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).
