A few details about the role:

• Work collaboratively with the Chief Clinical Officer and Clinical Operations team to identify clinical needs and develop innovative resident care programs.
• Serve as a clinical resource and develop and provide focused education and training to support knowledge and best practices in resident care, clinical reimbursement and regulatory compliance.

• Develop and implement practice related competencies for caregivers and nursing team members and assist with the development and provision of resident education.
• Assist in the selection, development and deployment of clinical programs, policies and strategies throughout the enterprise.
• Partner with the health services team and serve as a liaison with external vendors to ensure smooth integration and implementation of resident care programs.
• Assist with coordination, development, implementation, orientation and training of enterprise risk management and quality improvement programs.
• Report challenges and critical events relative to the progress of health centers, resident well-being and safety.

• Schedule internal or external clinical and resident care audits of at-risk communities and assist with development and implementation of action plans to improve quality & regulatory outcomes and increase occupancy/revenue.
• Participate in occupancy and new program development, review occupancy reports to support census goals, and assist in the development and implementation of community outreach programs to increase referral activity as needed.
• Position requires extensive outside travel.
• During emergencies or natural disasters may be required to be on duty for the duration of the disaster.

And here's what you need to apply:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, education, health care, gerontology, or a closely related area. Master's degree in nursing, education or health care management is highly preferred.
• Five years of combined experience as a nursing supervisor, director of nursing or regional nurse within a skilled nursing, assisted living, CCRC or Lifecare community.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Illinois required, Compact State RN license preferred.. Additional professional nursing certifications highly desirable.
