Off-Site Strategic Operations Technical Program Rep Specialist

Candidates for the Off-Site Strategic Operations Technical Program Rep Specialist position will be able to operate across a broad spectrum of disciplines including programs, operations, and submarine construction in addition to possessing the ability to conduct analysis at both the strategic and operational levels. Candidate should possess the ability to operate independently and matrix as required based on project requirements. Performance will require engagement in Groton, CT, Washington DC, and Electric Boat Off-Sites. Job will be located in Groton, CT. From the USS HARTFORD EOH to Off-Site New Construction and AIT, to Off-Site Trade engagements and Public Affairs this is a full spectrum position.

This position should have experience in Radiological Emergency Response as well as the ability to quickly learn the Public Affairs aspect of this core competency. Engineering experience particularly in overhaul and repair is preferred as this position will work with the strategic sourcing organization to assist in the coordination and construction of core products at specified off-site locations under the management control of the Kings Bay site.

Required:

BS degree in a technical field
• 10+ years of combined engineering, Nuclear Submarine Construction, and facilities and/or submarine docking experience

Preferred

• BS in Engineering
• Previously qualified Docking Engineer or FSO
• Program or Project management experience
• Previous experience in Radiological Emergency Response

• Excellent written and verbal skills
