The Construction Services team is seeking a dynamic professional who is willing to support the team and take an active part in making them successful.

A day in the life of a Contract Specialist may involve, but not limited to the following:

* Responsible for the development, preparation, formulation and administration of subcontract procurements from pre-planning through closeout for CPCCo.
* Perform routine procurement functions, which include but are not limited to, developing and issuing solicitations, evaluating proposals/bids, negotiating, source selection, price analysis, award, expediting and administration and closeout for fixed priced, time and material, and cost type contract actions.
* Perform evaluation of Requests for Equitable Adjustments.
* Prepare electronic documentation in accordance with the CPCCo Business Process Guides, policies and procedures and other procurement system requirements and performance objectives commensurate with the scope and nature of the work to include complex cost type contracts.
* Works to established policies and procedures for procurement.
* Perform administration of the procurement actions following commitment involving routine monetary expenditure or risk.
* Develop and administer Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts.
* Participate in planning and coordinating associated with pre-procurement activities.
* Demonstrate an aptitude and understanding necessary for the performance of procurement functions.
* Participate in available training to enhance work skills and capabilities.
* May participate in the development of procurement tools and providing feedback for the revision/updates to CPCCo Business Process Guides.


Basic Qualifications


* Senior Level Grade 18: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 8 or more years of relevant experience.

* Senior Level Grade 19: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 9 or more years of relevant experience.

The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.


Desired Qualifications


* Familiar with supply-chain management activities relating to construction services and fabrication contracts.
* Experience with routine tasks involving the formation of contracts and purchase orders, solicitations and administration.
* Experience with Requests for Equitable Adjustments.
* Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, to provide support to internal and external clients.
* Knowledge of procurement systems and processes.


Compensation & Benefits


In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.

Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):

* Senior Level Grade 18: $106,663 - $134,588.

* Senior Level Grade 19: $117,225 - $147,775.

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
