Segra is searching for a dynamic and experienced Capital Projects Manager to work within our Kansas City, MO market.

The Capital Projects Manager will manage a team that will perform financial activity tasks that include analyzing, evaluating, reporting, planning, or modifying a wide variety of telecommunication installation types.

Additionally, this role is responsible for daily guidance, assistance, and supervision of Procurement Coordinators. Must be able to clearly identify job and project priorities to meet departmental and company objectives. Includes setting appropriate project reporting on financials, budgets, and inventory.

This leader will ensure the team manages project budgets, reports all accounting and inventory variances, and processes job closings in a timely manner.

The incumbent will work with leadership and other departments to improve employee processes and procedures to gain efficiency within the department and across the company. Work with internal departments to enhance reporting systems

Required Qualifications:



  • Education:


    • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.


  • Experience:


    • 3 years of general accounting experience.
    • 3 years of management experience.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Development and knowledge of financial and accounting standards related to capital expenditures, accruals, and forecasting.
  • Ability to place purchase orders/change orders accurately and timely with vendors, as directed by the construction teams.
  • Review and process vendor invoices.
  • Track inventory usage during construction cycle.
  • Analyze and report variances from project estimates.
  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel formulations, Word, Outlook.
