Our Financial Services client is seeking a Product Analyst to join their team.
The Analyst will help to define and drive business requirements in sessions with the product, UI/UX, business, and cross functional product teams and stakeholders to complete application requirements, scoping, design, and complete development stories. This is a key role focused on championing and establishing product requirements and supporting the product team and the organization to prepare for new product features, enhancements, and product launches. As an analyst on the team, you will interact with Team leadership as well as multiple subject matter experts and technical teams to draw out business requirements, create functional and design documents, in collaboration with our product, design, and UI and UX teams to prepare artifact and necessary documentation. Additional responsibility will be to connect with key stakeholder and clients to ensure that the production support required by clients is being addressed in a timely manner. Essential Job Functions: User Insight & Product Definition * Formulate and document requirements, conduct data analysis, and produce use cases. * Connect with other technology and business teams to understand pain points and items in need of attention. * Perform support duties to help the user community and gain experience in how the product is used. * Create, maintain, and track project plans with direction from Agile team leads/management in Jira and Confluence. * Participate in Agile related ceremonies. * Research new and enhanced technologies and make recommendations to improve program and system quality, economy, and efficiency as well as providing support during implementation. * Assist with the adherence to technology policies and compliance with security control. * Assist in development of training and communication programs, documents, and materials such as user guides. * Support User Acceptance Testing initiatives. * Develop reports, charts, graphs, and process maps and maintain data files. * Interact with developers, clients, and design teams to address features that need refinement. * Support the product lead/s with cross product dependency communication, requirements, and tracking to implementation. * Raise risk and issues in accordance with leadership requests. * Participate in Product Demos. * May use SQL to analyze data sources and check for anomalies. Education & Experience Requirements: Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field) * 1-2 years of experience in product management, project management, business analysis, program management, product marketing, or related field. * Experience gathering and documenting product and feature requirements. * Strong writing ability Preferred Qualifications * Experience in product design * Experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically in the Banking, Broker Dealer, Compliance, Regulatory or RIA industry. * Experience with knowledge graph is preferred. * Strong business and financial acumen * Basic knowledge or Jira and Confluence. * Agile and Scrum ceremony knowledge. Working Conditions: * Work performed in an office environment. * Extended hours may be required. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
