HR Business Systems Owner (BSO) & Shared Services Lead(Hybrid - Columbia, SC)
TheHR Business Systems Owner (BSO) & Shared Services Leadis responsible for ensuring the strategic success of the Oracle HCM Cloud platform while leading and optimizing HR shared services operations. This role partners closely with the IT HR Technology team to manage system governance, enhancements, and integrations and collaborates with the Customer Support Center to drive efficiency in HR Tier 1 support.
This position plays a critical role in streamlining HR service delivery, leveraging technology and automation to enhance the employee and ACA experience, and ensuring data-driven decision-making.
What you'll do
- Serves as the business systems owner (BSO) for Oracle HCM Cloud, overseeing governance, enhancements, and system functionality.
- Partner with the IT HR Technology team to ensure system stability, security, compliance, and seamless integration with other platforms.
- Led the quarterly release management process, evaluating new Oracle HCM Cloud features and determining their impact on HR operations.
- Oversee the HR shared services model, ensuring efficient and high-quality Tier 1 HR support for employees and managers.
- Partner with the Customer Support Center to define workflows, service delivery standards, and automation strategies for Tier 1 HR inquiries.
- Ensure Tier 1 support teams are equipped with the necessary tools, training, and knowledge bases to provide consistent and accurate HR assistance.
- Act as the primary liaison between HR, IT, and the Customer Support Center for Oracle HC M Cloud-related initiatives and shared services enhancements.
- Work with HR business leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements and technology-driven efficiencies.
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and governance within Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Collaborate with HR and IT teams to develop real-time dashboards, workforce analytics, and operational reports to drive informed decision-making.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR technology, HR shared services, or HR operations, with strong expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud or any related HRIS system.
- Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s) in Core HR, Payroll, Absence, or Compensation preferred.
- Experience partnering with IT teams to manage system governance, integrations, and change management.
- Proven experience leading HR shared services or Tier 1 support operations, including process optimization and automation.
- Strong background in case management, service delivery models, and HR operational support.
- Experience working with HR service center technologies, AI-driven automation, and case management tools.
- Knowledge of best practices in HR Tier 1 support models and shared services transformation.
