Lab Administrator PEDS-ONCOLOGY Full Time 84377BR Job Summary The Admin Officer 2 acts as the administrative support for the lab based research labs in Pediatrics Oncology. This responsibility includes lab purchasing, allocation of lab purchases to the correct fund, and work with the RFAs to determine the budget of all lab orders.The position also acts as the equipment custodian for the labs.The position also assumes executive assistant responsibilities lab PI's, which may include complex scheduling and calendaring of multiple events and conferences, writing and document preparation, coordinating travel, and asssuring that invoices are paid appropriately. The incumbent is expected to guide the faculty in understanding the unversity polices, in particular, around purchasing, reimbursements, and travel. It is expected that this incumbent will work as a bridge between the labs, administration, and finance teams. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $29.05 - $53.50 (Hourly Rate). The Department is comprised of 18 divisions employing over 400 core faculty. The Department ranks 21st in the nation among pediatric departments for funding from the National Institutes of Health.
