Senior Technical Project Manager - Hybrid (00063204821)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with 11 to 15 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microservices Java Card Technology Java 8 Java 11 Java Core Java and Advanced Java. Experience in Asset & Wealth Management and Cards & Payments domains is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of projects ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• Oversee the development and deployment of Microservices ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the development team particularly in Java Card Technology Java 8 Java 11 Java Core Java and Advanced Java.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that project objectives align with business goals.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
• Ensure that all project documentation is complete and up-to-date.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Utilize domain knowledge in Asset & Wealth Management and Cards & Payments to enhance project outcomes.
• Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the highest level of project deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project management processes.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in Microservices Java Card Technology Java 8 Java 11 Java Core Java and Advanced Java.
• Should have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Should have experience in managing large complex projects.
• Nice to have experience in Asset & Wealth Management and Cards & Payments domains.
• Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Should be highly organized and detail-oriented.

Certifications Required

PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred. Java certification is a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until March 18th 2025 .

The annual salary for this position is between $138,000 - $162,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
