Georgia-Pacific is seeking to add an IT Infrastructure PMO Leader to our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising a small team of IT Infrastructure Project Managers and when needed leading, organizing, and motivating project teams to successfully deliver IT infrastructure projects for our customers. Projects will vary in complexity, size, scope, and methodology - traditional (waterfall), agile, and hybrid approaches are all utilized within the organization.

Some after-hours or weekend work may be required, and minimal travel is expected (estimated 10% - 15%). Both will vary based on PMO or project needs.

Location: This is a hybrid position-onsite three days a week in downtown Atlanta.

Our Team

This role is a key member of the IT Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) within the IT Business Office (ITBO), supporting many GP projects. We manage a wide portfolio of critical efforts supporting the needs of our businesses. We partner with our customers to define, execute, promote, and drive project delivery utilizing best practices.

What You Will Do

This position within the ITBO creates long-term value by coaching and mentoring their team members, ensuring all projects in their scope of responsibility are executed successfully, partnering with others in IT to understand strategy and demand, and partnering within the PMO to drive continuous improvement.

Supervise - Provide leadership and guidance to 3 - 4 direct reports and team members, ensuring effective supervision and development to achieve successful project execution. Focus on fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development.

Improve Processes - Be an active member of the IT PMO Leadership Team and help drive process maturity across projects and programs.

Manage Demand - Collaborate with Portfolio Leaders to analyze and forecast demand that helps prioritize workloads based on business value, strategic alignment and resource availability.

Manage Cost- Ensure team is effective in managing relevant costs associated with the projects/programs.

Build Preferred Partnerships - Create strong relationships with project teams and stakeholders.

Provide Project Leadership - accountable to drive all aspects of the teams projects. Proactively escalate issues or concerns, and drive resolutions when there are changes to the project scope, resources, schedule, and budget.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Experience supervising, managing and developing a small team of IT Infrastructure Project Managers
* Hands on experience leading infrastructure projects from ideation to close
* Ability to manage multiple and concurrent projects, programs and priorities in a dynamic environment
* Experience managing capital projects
* Expertise in project management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or equivalent PM tools), and Microsoft Office Tools (MS Office, Teams, OneNote)
* Experience in Portfolio Management tools (e.g. Planview, ServiceNow)

* Manufacturing knowledge, especially in paper production or converting environments
* Strong Analytical, Communication, and Leadership skills
* Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
* Experience working in a PMO
