Description & Requirements
You will have the opportunity to work with multiple clients and lead high-performing teams to execute consulting projects for clients in the Financial Services industry (primarily community banks). The position will require working in a team environment to achieve a common goal and building relationships with fellow team members and clients. The common areas of consulting for this position include internal audit, projects such as CECL implementation, and overall problem-solving. This position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates who possess strong attention to detail, sensitivity to deadlines, and leadership and management capabilities. Dedication to client service is essential, including consistent positive interactions with clients and the demonstration of effective communication and people skills. The successful candidate will be an independent worker with excellent project management and time management skills.
How you will contribute:
  • Provide clients with subject matter expertise in the areas of internal audit and accounting
  • Overall project management, including planning, supervising and executing consulting projects in the financial services industry
  • Perform root cause analysis related to project findings and draft formal deliverables for client management summarizing project findings and recommendations
  • Manage engagement fundamentals (e.g., realization, utilization, leverage,)
  • Collaborate with clients and key stakeholders to understand business strategy and objectives, operational issues and challenges, and deliver solutions that optimize operations
  • Build, maintain, and collaborate with an array of client stakeholders, from c-level executives to front-line supervisors, in understanding operational areas and identifying areas for improvement
  • Communicate frequently with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring that appropriate parties remain informed and involved in project developments
  • Develop a network of clients and industry resources and deploy marketing techniques to contribute to the growth of the Financial Services team
We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:
  • The ability to communicate both up and downstream to team staff and exercise judgment in determining client interactions
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple client projects, including monitoring project time budgets and consistently meeting or exceeding agreed-upon deadlines
  • The ability to professionally write and communicate deliverables including but not limited to client meetings, internal meetings, and projects
  • Advanced computer skills and ability to learn new software related to the accounting function of an organization
  • High attention to detail as well as the ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills
  • Willingness to embrace lifelong learning and continually look for opportunities to bring value, grow within your areas of expertise and share your passion for the Financial Services industry
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 1 year of experience in consulting, public accounting, or at a financial institution
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and Word
  • Ability to complete occasional travel
