Description
An EMP Project Manager can manage most field test programs and is expected to successfully manage multiple projects. A PM also conducts training for EMP Supervisors and Technical Specialists using standard EMP training materials and guidance provided by Operations Excellence. You will be responsible for the management of multiple LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) projects. You will also be responsible for managing EMP Technical Specialists I & IIs, and EMP Supervisors. Essential Functions
- Supports development of testing programs for AEM customers
- Manages a variety of AEM testing programs
- Conducts on-site field testing when applicable
- Performs safety and quality inspections
- Exhibits appropriate leadership to ensure the success of a project when on site. This may include serving as the project lead, as a team member, or in a field inspection role
- Follows current standards, codes, and procedures regarding safe and effective use of equipment, maintenance programs, and other policies as required
- Ensures the company is represented professionally while at customer sites and in the office Performs training of Supervisors and Specialists on field procedures and test methods with OPEX collaboration
- Consistently demonstrates the ability to supervise/delegate and keep personnel productive Routinely checks data collection on AST remote server, as applicable, before project startup to ensure automated collection and remote data displays are in working order
- Develops and reviews field templates prior to the mobilization of projects
- Support of AGM's use of Salesforce by adding to customer information and contact base in Salesforce via relationships developed as a Project Manager with a focus on increasing future opportunities with the customer base
- Develops and reviews project cost estimates for new proposed projects
- Supports development of project documents
- Writes and reviews Quality Assurance finding during project execution
- Ensures quality data collection * Preparation of the test team for the scope of work prior to mobilization and throughout the project life cycle, including the development of health and safety plans (HASP) or job safety (JSA) forms, review of field forms, review of templates, review of equipment preparation, and assigning roles and responsibilities to team members
- Updates ATLAS with project information, including data submittal dates

- Assist with EMP Supervisor training
- Ensure that all project QA/QC requirements are met
- Perform monthly invoicing reviews and approvals
- Attend safety training and incorporate safety into all job performance areas; complete onsite and internal training prior to entering and beginning work at sites, as applicable
- Aid Supervisors and Specialists as needed
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Supervisor Responsibilities
- Assist with EMP Supervisor training
- Ensure that all project QA/QC requirements are met

- Attend safety training and incorporate safety into all job performance areas; complete onsite and internal training prior to entering and beginning work at sites, as applicable
- Aid Supervisors and Specialists as needed

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years as a EMP Supervisor, or equivalent experience
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Must pass all applicable safety training
- Complete the Transportation Working Identification Credential (TWIC) program followed by verification via a TWIC

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee travels extensively to industrial work sites and performs testing in hazardous or extreme working conditions. This position may involve working at extreme heights and may involve intense levels of emotional stress. - May have to perform outdoor work in petroleum refinery or chemical processing facility walking and standing for prolonged periods of time.
- May be subject to adverse weather conditions (extreme hot/cold and inclement weather)
- May have to carry a testing device, data logger, hand tools, and miscellaneous equipment that weigh approximately 15-25 lbs. The testing devices are carried in a backpack.
- The work may involve ascending stairs, climbing vertical ladders, and working from elevated heights, heights may exceed 300 feet, (wearing personal fall protection when required) with equipment described above.
- All outdoor work is performed wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), which includes, but is not limited to, a hardhat, fire retardant coveralls, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety boots, and a 5-point safety harness (when required).
Travel 50%). Travels to and from various gas processing facilities. Depending on the assignment and the remoteness of the site, may require a greater level of travel and travel on weekends.
