An Engineering Project Manager job in Indianapolis, IN is currently available at Belcan. This job is a full-time position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor"s Degree and five to ten years of previous engineering project management experience. This position will manage all aspects of project execution from quoting to delivery for projects assigned. This position will be responsible for ensuring services are delivered on time, on budget and with technical excellence. Gas turbine experience is preferred. Due to the nature of the work begin performed, US Citizenship is required.
Job Duties:
* Managing the development of new or revised proposals for potential or existing projects.
* Establishing the appropriate level of communication with the customer to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Defining and manage changes of the project work scope.
* Performing contract review upon receipt of new or revised funding and collaborating with the customer on resolution of any issues related to the contract.
* Communicate effectively with the project team to ensure that they understand the technical requirements associated with the tasks
* Develop program level schedule, manage execution to the project plan, and keep the schedule up to date to ensure proper communication is maintained.
* Providing leadership to the project team to ensure all deliverable requirements are met.
* Monitoring project progress to ensure time, costs, budget, and quality are met.
* Manage projects using Earned Value techniques to ensure effective execution.
* Enforcing compliance in the terms of the contract, the project quality plan, project directives, statutory/regulatory requirements
* Coordinating team member changes with their supervisors with an objective to have a minimal impact on project execution.
* Addressing problems quickly and elevating concerns to your supervisor.
* Ensuring project record documentation is stored in the project directory or alternate location as directed by the customer.
* Cultivating repeat business by exceeding customer expectations and by continually improving customer relationships on projects.
* Own adherence to internally developed policies and procedures to maintain compliance to AS9100D standards.
Required Qualifications:
*B.S. degree in a recognized engineering field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
*Must have excellent English skills, both oral and written
*Must be well organized and strong attention to detail
*Five to ten years of engineering project management experience.
*Experience quickly learning and implementing internal policies and procedures related to project management and quality compliance.
*Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
*Proficiency in Earned Value Management.
*Ability to write technical proposals, reports, and correspondence.
*Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
* Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required/U.S. Citizenship only
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
*Gas turbine engine project management experience.
*SCRUM/Agile working experience.
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $90,000 to $120,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
