Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work hybrid with our client in Boston, MA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The Operations Specialist-Trade Management performs specialized operational securities processing activities to support the firm's business lines.
  • This includes instruction receipt, authentication and routing, entry instruction, verification, processing and recording, and reporting and reconciliation.
  • The Specialist should also identify trends that will aid in the increased STP for the Division and the Client, adding to the overall Client Experience.
  • Entry of all client trades sent to the client may be STP, automated but needing repair, or fully manual (rekey).
  • Authenticates, confirms, and distributes all Faxed trades received into the Bank.
  • Perform various edit checks on all electronic trades.
  • Trades with missing, incomplete, inconsistent, or poorly formatted data are sent for repair for research and resolution.
  • Re-key - Faxed trade tickets are entered into GTPS.
  • Processing of complex and client-specific instructions.
  • Verify (dual controls) information before it is released to other areas of the firm and the market.
  • Escalate known or potential issues to management.
  • Resolve transaction-related problems using established procedures or client documentation and available systems.
  • Analyze trends and provide feedback on instruction content and format related to market requirements/standards.
  • Communicate expected resolution (where applicable) based on market knowledge.
  • Provide superior client service.
  • Operations Specialist within Trade management to assist with meeting daily production goals through manual trade entry.
  • Contribute to assisting with various automation initiatives to enhance STP.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $43/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Length: Temp (6 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 6 months of Trade Management experience.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • The Operations Specialist must be able to identify market-related issues on instructions (missing or conflicting requirements) and communicate these issues along with the expected resolution directly to clients.
  • Ability to clearly and professionally communicate instruction-related issues to clients.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • An aptitude for analytical and problem resolution.
  • Self-starter, proactive, and objective-oriented.
  • Ability to execute tasks with little direction and plan time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and deal.
